What is Hapkido

Hapkido is a Korean Martial Art that encompasses a broad range of techniques, including strikes, throws, joint locks, and grappling. It does not rely on physical strength or power, but utilizes the concepts of circular motion, continuous flow (water principle), and harmonizing (energy) with what is in the moment.

The Immediate aim of Hapkido is the welfare of the practitioner, the ultimate goal is the development of mind, body and spirit in unity with the universe.

Through dedicated practice one can conquer fear, improve physically and mentally, and achieve ones maximum potential.

Hapkido is favored by the police, military, and security personnel worldwide, due to its effectiveness and simplicity. It is perfectly suited for men and women, and is ideal for children, building focus and confidence.
