On behalf of the World Hapkido Association (WHA), The Sunshine Coast Hapkido Club is pleased to extend a warm welcome to you. Our Club is situated in the town of Gibsons, forty minutes by ferry from the metropolis of Vancouver, on the scenically beautiful Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
We are a dedicated and diverse group committed to the attainment of knowledge, and serious training in, the art of Hapkido. Our club atmosphere is relaxed but respectful, with a focus on self-defense technique and training. We honor and admire each member's perseverance as individually we advance toward our goal of developing into efficient practitioners of our martial art.

Sunshine Coast Hapkido is pleased to announce the addition of the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Combatives to it's curriculum. The exact program as it is taught by the Gracie family at the Gracie Academy in Torrence, California. We are the only certified training center in British Columbia for the Gracie Combatives Course. This program teaches the 36 most effective and most often used techniques in a street situation. This is not for sport or MMA. If you wish to learn this efficient self defence system, call 604 989-2020 to register now. Classes are ongoing, join at any time.
